hillac @ 5/24/2007 11:38 AM EST  If the writer of the above article is writing about the south then probably he is right but if he is writing about somalis in general then he is absolutely wrong.Both puntland and somaliland have proven that elders can and do play an important role in their societies,when there was fighting in both puntland and somaliland elders stepped in and brought calm and peace amongst the fighting clans.     shanta @ 5/24/2007 9:06 AM EST  A Somali grows with time, but never matures with time.
