Unfortunately, I don't think there are the right minds to grasp that idea right now as we speak. However, I believe as long as those same people I mean all the Somali no matter what Qabiil they are,who caused as to be refugees, would be those with the correct minds to lead us. I am very skeptical to sit and wait there will be some changes in Somalia for the coming years. These so called ex-warlords must go first and for most. then we can hope for the best. For the new generation to lead Somalis must also be those who are educated in out side the Country and have the fresh ideas and totally different mentalatiy than the previous generation. Therefore, they are not influenced by their elders or their so-called clan based idiology. Otherwise, I am not that optimistic Somalia will come back to an exist nation. Sorry to say that, every body is entitle to hi/her opinion. They can not even secure Villa Somalia let alone anywhere else.How do you explain that? Utilizing someone else's idea is better than no ideas that we get used to as Somalis. Some of the people in this forum are the offsprings of those who destroyed our country. As you said, the underlying Somali problem is LACK OF DEVELOPING OUR RESOURCES. If we developed our resouces you mentioned in your article, most of our problem will disappear. Just because Americans did not like their way of governance of Sharia law in a country with 100% Muslim population, Meles and this ill-advised TFG were given the go ahead to attach the UIC and destroy them. These attaches and destruction on the UIC were designed to bring back the warlords and the chaotic situation to Mogadishu. Mission accomplished successfully. Sister surely you are an articulate and patriotic Somali jecel woman with long term vision for the country you call home. I have nothing, but admiration for you. However in the short term we desperately require a government, which can put an end to the endless killings of ordinary people in Mogadishu and which can earn the trust rather then the resentment of its people. But we are being governed by a government, which is unfit to govern and lacks abilities to deal with the complexities of the challenges ahead. The solution to our problems was found by the UIC and it did work for us with out a doubt. Had it not been the TFG and Meles troops, the people in Mogadishu would have lived in peace by now. Where is the resources that we so meant today? You speak that tribalism should come to an end but being against the TFG will reinforce your tribal ideology and hatred for the Presidents tribe.
