Momo seems does not understand Faruq and his stand on Somali
issues. Perhaps in her case, anything Islam is bad for the
country. She should educate herself about Faruq before making
such statement. As for saying ill towards those who died, I am not
sure its legality, but surely, it's tasteless. I won't say anything
bad to those who died, even those who made numerous blunders including;
Barre, Aidid, Egal, and surely many more....

 In Somali culture silence is sometimes viewed as apprehension or discomfort mostly when the matter in hand seems to lead to the unknown.

Therefore, perhaps the silence here to my below question tells me the unsaid is of the said.

I bet Stick would have commented on this one.

What about Dr Lamadage? Hol,  xiniinyaha Lo'i (cattle) idinkaga tumatay maxay ruug cadaati cunaha qabteen!

 When I read momo519’s below comment something suddenly popped into my mind: ‘Do not speak ill of the dead’, but I don’t really know if the late Faruuq was up to wahaabiism or not and I am not sure if I want to know it now that he is dead and he is not able to defend himself though if there is any fact to it then perhaps lessons need to be learnt .

But I have a question for you guys: Is the warning to not speak ill of the dead in accordance with the holy Qura’an ? Or just a superstition?

The importer of the filthy Wahabi sect into Somalia.

Allah will judge him and the rest of the Wahabis for their destruction of Muslim cemeteries!

 May he rest in peace and may Allah reward him His Jano for he was a true muslim and a decent human being.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his families during this difficult time. We are so sorry for the loss of such an important  scholar who made difference in his nation.

 Indeed, May Allah grant him Jannah.

 May Allah shower his mercy upon his soul and build him a house in Janatul-Fardowsa Aamiin.

 May Allah grant him a place in Jannah. Aamiin ya Rabbi!
