A mentally ill patient could never be cured, if he/she is in denial for so long for their sickness. You can shut all the doors you want present and past, but it will always creeping on you. Dark days! tell me is there a light at the end of the tunnel today for avarege Mogadishu resident? Mogadishu residents are they better off today or it is getting worse than ever day after day?. Walaahi haddaadan saaxiga keenin oo aadan garan waxii dhacayey maalin walba weligaa ma garan doontid halkaad u socoto, adiga iyo kuwa kula fikir ah. Wake up and smell the coffee, ironically you remind me the idiom "No good deed goes unpunished" it must be all of your kinds and good you have done.

my pal, it seems you can't seperate between issues that happened 20 yrs ago and what is happening now. we have ethiopian intelligence officers in puntland and somaliland and that is no lie. you know what happened to ONLF  fighters and how they were handed over gleefully by those colloborators under the direct control of the thiopians, historically somethings never change! lots of educated somalis have left recently muqadishu not becuase of the usual shabab attacks but because of the same ethiopian officers in puntland and somaliland are also now operating there perhaps with the support of ur cousins. I know relatives of mine who fled of recently and closed the schools they were running. if you are fleeing from somalia into kenya ur a refugee but if ur travelling to somalia u automatically qualify to be a terrorist, check the news of last week. again, u have been sitting around talking and doing nothing so you ought to be oblivious what is happening to those contributing to the well being of somalia. I know you have a speacila place in ur heart for ethiopians....I didn't forget how you use to support them in the darkest days of somalias history, that alone disqulifies you even to talk about somalia. a colloborator's grand child will always remain a colloborator

I have one more info, don't you know our young kids who gets killed while dealing dr*ugs and those who were selling young girls as young as 12 years old, were all good Diaspora youth that got framed by absinian intelligence, Americans and all kufaars. I just can't believe the mind set of certain Somalis.

I knew we will never run out of scape goats. Who killed all of the ex police, military, doctors and many other valuable talented Somalis in Mogadishu?.

very good observation! that is exactly what I thought. there is a concerted effort by kenya and ethiopia to stop the diaspora ever making into somalia. I remember reading an article in daily nation a leading kenyan newspaper of what amounted to future obsticles in their design to do away with somalia. the first on the list was the diaspora! the ethiopians know the only people who will safe somalia are the huge number of somalis in the west getting educated and who will sooner or later retun back to somalia. what makes the tigreans concerned with somalia is the simple fact that the road to addis goes through muqadishu. both meles and afworki went through there and they know the final straw i.e. the oromos will sooner or later go through muqadishu too. there was a spate of strange assisinations against educated somalis in somalia and there is no doubt the ethiopian intelligence agents and their colloborators are heavily involved.

Bashiir was a decent and kind brother who always had Somalia at his heart. I remember watching a Vikings game with him few weeks ago. He was very quiet and observant and wished peace to come to his land. Sad that he is killed trying to bring peace and sanity to his land. Ilaaha ha u naxariisto.

Allah yarxam. What a waste of life!

Last year I tried to visit my sick mother in Kismayo, my whole family including my mother and many of my close friends advised me not to go there at the time, they knew better.

Instead I brought here to Nairobi for medical treatment and for us to spend some time together in relatively safe country.

Now I know the score.

Allaha u naxariisto Bashiir Cabdi, samir iyo imaan allaha ka siiyo caa'iladiisa. Qof walba meeshuu ku dhimnaayo waa qoran tahay, asagana waddankiisa ayuu ku dhintay, inkastoo gacan ka xaq daran ay dishay, maskiin.
