It's sad how we Somalis cannot come together, for once, and stand up for what is right. Face it, the IUC had no long term solution for our people and nation, and they were run, funded, etc. by others' doctorine and vain worldly desires not free from qabil dominance. What really brought down the IUC is nothing other than themselves. They were able to rejoice Allah's Nasr, victory, restore order, and so on. To the unintiiated observer, the route of the ICU rag tag army during the last week was a display of Tigrian military prowess. To us who are more dicerning and more honest, the battle was nothing other than an unfair contest between the only super power , United Air Force, and a well motivated but ill-equipped Somalis. Ladies and gentlemen, the Tigrian dwarf was only a wooden trojan horse consealing the mightly legions of the united airforce. Any one reading between the lines of the reporting can fail to notice the fingerpronts of the US air force. Washington post report on Dec. 28 has quoted a medic saying the ambulance were spared the 5000 pound bombs.The tigrians do not follow the genva convention. They specialize in massacring innocent civilans in eriteria. and can not fail to notice the fingerprints of the only existing superpower in the world today. United States air force used every weapon in its arsenal to defeat a tribal army. This was a battle between a David and a galiath. Melez has practically become the prime Minister of Ethiopia and President of Somalia. Ghedi and Yusuf are his administrators. It will be difficult to make them leave Somalia. I am taken aback by the irresponsible comment of Abdullahi yusuf that he will bring UIC leaders to justice. The only crime of these noble people is being good Muslims and bring law and order to Somalia. And the crime of Abdullahi Yusuf and his cronies is war crimes and crimes against humanity. What Somalia are you lamenting for? The Somalia that I knew has already died 16 years ago when genocide was committed against the Somali citizens by other Somalis. What did you said about it? It had died when Mogadishu conquerors failed to execute the terms of agreement with the other Somali communities and groups. It had died when the Hargaisa separatist thugs deported the Somali citizens of Baydoa origin shipping them out of the North like a flock. I am not ready for Ethiopian occupation and I will fight them if they overstay their need, but I am telling you Mr. Gaildon, you are very early to say what you said about the presence of the Ethiopian troops and not saying one single bad word about the Somali faction that has been denying the peace in Somalia for the last 16 years including the courts leadership. The Ethiopians along with the TFG gave their lives to win this war. They pushed their way to Mogadishu and so far did their job in very decent way. I don’t see why anyone should pull the sleeves and greet them with insult. Just wait till they do mistakes if you are so willing to attack them. Therefore the two of them can not be compared. Tanzania never went there to install anyone it just happened. So don't you try to compare Tanzania war with Uganda to Somalia V Ethiopia. My question is..why all the warlords have runned to control the same things they did before they got kicked out by the UIC. Its the end of Somalia as a state. Granted, they made some tactical mistakes, and I think some other guys who had different agenda influenced their stand, but they are the best and brightest that the Somalia has to offer. Did Tanzania colonize Ugandha? No. Ugandha today is one of the few democracies in Africa. I wish Somali intellectuals try not to be doom-sayers. There are many possibilities, both good and bad. Let's hope and pray for the good. Nobody can tell the future. All I can say is: After 16 dark years, today we have a chance to unite, forget the T..word and rebuilt our country. The people who brought Ethobia are making big mistake as Ethobia will never leave Somalia. I am very sad seeing Ethobia forces invading Somalia. This is not spirit of a defeated nation but an exterminated one. We are suffering from a terminal illness but we even dont know that we are sick trying to forget it by using narcotics such as Khat. People are celebrating to be able to eat khat and their lose of total Identity. We should only turn to Allah more, that all I can say.
