Godane hails from Somaliland but since he is unable to practice his trade in Hargeisa he started his kindom elsewhere and he reigns supreme there.

 The Reporter fails to mention that Sheikh Godane, also known as Muqtar Abu Zubeyr, hails from Hargeisa, the capital of sessionist Somaliland.
