We the closest family of Saado Ali Warsame are utterly shocked and against the politicisation of her death. It has come to our attention that some people and political entities are attempting to exploit Sado’s death as a springboard to further their selfish interest.
The whole nation lost Sado as it was being demonstrated by the state funeral held for her by the Federal Government of Somalia.
Although we do know it is common after such a shock and loss some members of our family might be tempted to direct their anger and frustration outside the group, but as a family we find it highly unacceptable.
At the moment we the closest family of Sado are in state of mourning and we will urge all Somalis to forgive and pray for her.
We hope whoever killed Sado or is responsible for her death will be arrested and arraigned in court of law pretty soon.
Finally, we do herby convey our sincerest condolences to the family, friends and community of the slain companion/man who was assassinated along with our family member. May Allah have mercy on him as well. Aamiin
