ST. CLOUD, Minn. - St. Cloud police are searching for a missing 6-year-old Somali boy who was last seen in the 300 block of Eighth Avenue North at about 8:40 p.m. Thursday.
Police say Hamza Elmi may be on foot or on a scooter. They believe the scooter might be pink.
On Friday morning, officers were searching as far north as the 700 block.
Elmi has special needs and is not verbal, according to police. He was last seen wearing black athletic pants with red and white stripes, and a brown T-shirt with black stripes. Elmi is approximately 3 1/2 feet tall and weighs 40-45 pounds.
Police said there is nothing suspicious about Elmi's disappearance at this time.
