Eastleigh Business Community Up In Arms Over Closure Of Hawalas

The Eastliegh business community has protested the closure of 13 informal money transfer outlets in a government crackdown on suspected funding conduits for the somali based Al shabaab terror group.

The protest was raised as the Kenya Forex Bureaus association also questioned the governments move to suspend the licenses of 13 Hawalas whose operations had been approved by the Central Bank of Kenya.
