The owner of a car that exploded at Pangani Police Station killing two police officers and two suspected terrorists on April 23 has been released for lack of evidence on Thursday.
Ahmed Dugal Ali had been charged on May 21 with harbouring of persons committing terrorism Act.
Trial magistrate Lucy Mbugua ruled that there was no evidence linking Ali to the explosion that left two police officers dead. Mbugua further says that Ali had cooperated with investigators since the probe began.
