Galkayo, Somalia (HOL) - Gunmen shot and killed a Somali journalist working for Radio Daljir and Horn Cable TV in Galkayo on Tuesday night.
Abdirizak Ali Abdi (Silver), well known journalist in Puntland received several bullets to the head by two gunmen.
Police arrived at the scene, but the gunmen managed to escape.
At least five journalist were killed in Galkayo for the last three years. Somalia is one of the most dangerous countries for journalist to operate.
