Rwanda President Paul Kagame’s daughter, Ange Kagame, on Tuesday attended a high profile dinner at the White House in Washington, United States.

Hosted by President Obama, the dinner saw Ange join African leaders as they mingled with US’ top businessmen, congressmen, media moguls, presidential advisors, United Nations officials and academics from prestigious universities.

Ange was photographed with her father in the Blue Room as they were being welcomed by President Obama shortly before the White House Dinner.

What struck observers is that Ange tactfully complemented her height and striking beauty with a long dress.

The U.S. media recently reported that Malia Obama’s height could reach 6 feet, 1 inch, making her the tallest first daughter in recent history.

However, Ange could be in her own league.

According to photographs seen by ChimpLyf, Ange Kagame is taller than her father and President Obama.

The duo was all smiles as it posed for a photo with President Obama and Michelle.

Ange Kagame is the second child and only daughter of President Kagame and Jeannette Nyiramongi.

President Kagame and Jeannette have four children: – Ange Kagame and her siblings – Ivan Kagame, Ian and Brian.

Who is Ange?

Due to security and privacy reasons, the first daughter completed her education abroad and was absent from the public eye for most of her childhood.

During her years in school and college, her friends knew her as a considerate and amiable person who excelled in academics.

Though away from home, she used to closely follow the happenings in Rwanda through the media.

Ange spent most of her childhood, shielded from the public eye. However, since 2010; she has taken a keen interest in Charitable Work and Social Welfare.

Along with her mother Jeannette, she has participated in various charitableorganizations across the length and breadth of Rwanda and Africa.

Ange Kagame is also a strong cavalier for the immunization of Rwanda and Africa from various fatal diseases. Most recently, she took the initiative along with her mother for a countrywide vaccination drive in Rwanda.

Ange Kagame is a patron of various charitable and welfare organizations and in recent years has become a prolific advocate to champion women empowerment, disease immunization campaigns, education and eradication of poverty; among other key issues.

The mother-daughter duo hosted a charity ball in Kigali in April, 2012. The event was aimed at raising funds for a variety of welfare causes.
