The Minister of Foreign Affairs Tedros Adhanom said on Sunday Ethiopia would reinforce its endeavours for peace in Somalia.
The Minister made the remark while holding talks with the delegation
of Somalia led by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud in Addis Ababa.
On the occasion, Tedros reaffirmed his country's commitment to create
lasting peace suitable for Somali citizens. He also said Ethiopia wants
to strengthen the people to people relation between the two countries.
President Mohamud for his part said Ethiopia's support is enormous in bringing the relative peace in his country now.
In addition to the peace effort, he also commended Ethiopia's effort
to interconnect the region in infrastructure, trade, economy and social
sectors.
