Fahd receives Somalia, Comoros President

His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, who is currently taking part in the 24th Arab Summit Conference on behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, received at the Doha Sheraton Hotel yesterday President Shaikh Hassan Mahmoud of Somalia.
During the meeting, HH Sayyid Fahd conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos along with His Majesty's best wishes of good health and well-being to President Mahmoud and the brotherly people of Somalia further progress and prosperity.
On his turn, the Somali President requested HH Sayyid Fahd to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people further progress under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in various fields. The meeting was attended by members of the delegations accompanying HH Sayyid Fahd and the Somali President. HH Sayyid Fahd also received President Ikililou Dhoinine of Comoros. The President requested HH Sayyid Fahd to convey his greetings and good wishes to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and the Omani people further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty.
The Comoros President expressed his thanks for the continued support provided by the Sultanate under the leadership of His Majesty to the people of Comoros. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the bilateral relations and ways of developing them in various fields. The meeting was attended by delegates accompanying the Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers and the President of Comoros.
