Somali Prime minister starts his first foreign trip

Somalia’s Prime minister Abdi Farah Shidon has started his first tour outside of the country since he was appointed on October last year.

In a statement from his office the prime minister announced that he will pay a visit to several countries in the region who have military presence in Somalia.

In his first stop Mr. Shirdon will meet the Djiboutian leaders in the capital Jibouti who has military presence in Beledweyne, The administrative capital of Hiiraan region and then will proceed to Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Brundi who have also troops on the ground serving as the Amisom mission to restore peace in Somalia.

His foreign trip came after he ended a nation wide "listening tour" across the country.
