Alshabab, Somalia’s
Alqa’ida group has warned Turkey of meddling in Somali affairs accusing
the country to be leading new western
conspiracy to colonize Somalia.
The group accuses Turkey of importing Somali’s female livestock species to harm
the counry’s productivity of livestock.
“Turkey is a cover up
of western conspiracy to re-colonize Somalia, they cannot trap us because of being
a muslim nation”. Said Alshabaab spokesman Shiekh Ali Dheere.
"Plots against Somalia are increasing,there was a
conference in London and there is another upcoming one in Turkey to finalise
the outcome of London conference,which is to colonize Somalia”.He added.
Shiekh Ali Dheere pointed out that the outcome of London
conference was to colonize Somalia economically referring to the formation of a
Joint Financial Management Board in the conference.
Turkey continues to assist Somalia, since the country was
hit by it’s worst drought and famine last year.
Despite the accusations of Alshabab, Somalis hail the
assistance they received from Turkey
which was the largest aid project ever in Somalia, including building
hospitals,schools,roads and donating scholarships to hundreds of Somali
students .
Turkey denies to have any other intention rather than rebuilding
the country to stand it’s own feet once again.
