Morocco has decided to send financial aid to Mauritania, Djibouti and Somalia which are facing difficult conditions due to the bad weather, reported MAP news agency.

Morocco's initiative is a sign of cooperative relations which are already established between Morocco and the three African countries, affirmed the Foreign Affairs Ministry in a communiqué.

Morocco intends to send 40,000 blankets and afford financial assistance to Mauritania which is facing a wave of cold.

Meanwhile, Somalia and Djibouti, they are facing a severe drought due to scarcity of rainfalls. Thousands of people are in need of food aid because of these tough circumstances.
