Somali government must not accept this deal.

There cannot be any policy except to build an inclusive Somali national forces.

Why would Somalia accept this deal and expect to be a sovereign and independent state?

Not rebuilding SNA is an existential issue and therefore not an option.

Somalia is a sovereign state and it has the right according to international law to ask for the kind help it wants.

No ONE can force Somalia to accept anything it doesn't want, so why would we accept a deal which will not help the rebuilding of the SNA and to continue to depend on AMISOM?

Anyone who agrees to such a deal must have sh1t for brains.

They need to be arrested immediately for this national treachery.

The strategy for defeating Al-Shabaab relies on rebuilding Somali security forces while AMISOM can only contain them and that's all they have doing for nearly a decade.

Containing Al-Shabaab indefinitely is not a good strategy, so the IC need to support the SNA as they are the only forces which can defeat Al-Shabaab.

Somali security forces should be given top priority because they will do the hard fighting and not sit on their barracks taking money like AMISOM forces.

Funding the unpaid and demoralized troops is the easiest part.

Transforming clan-based army into unified and inclusive SNA is the most difficult part, and this can't be achieved without restoring trust and having genuine reconciliation between feuding factions!
