It is well known fact that somali land asked ethiopia to be subsumed under their umbrella (girliga 6aad). I think Somaliland should keep its options open for seceding from Somalia because the will of majority of Somalilanders could change, hence opting for Somali unity!

However, the non-official representatives of the somalis in somaliland are taking part in the election in somalia. The officila representatives of the somalis in somaliland of somalia deny that any somali from somaliland is taking part in the somali election.
