actually both Hull and Sheffield are major cities in Europe and therefore it will not be unsual to have consulates in them rather than amabassadors. And that is what will happen - a Consulate will be opened with full honours. So the joke is on you. The next in the UK will be Cardiff. Now Cradiff is the capital of the nation of Wales which puts a whole new dimension to the issue.

 I wonder who is designated to be Somaliland's New Ambassador to Sheffield? and when he his going to submit his Credential to the Mayor of the city of steel?  I can't wait to read the headlines and celebration!

Also what is the next target for recognition? Hull?

 I am really happy for the Somalilanders in the UK and Europe and I am disappointed to the somalilanders here in North America.

 The City of Steel has a heart of Gold. Alas, its kindness and principle only highlights Somaliland's dismal desperation. They have no hope in hell of recognition from any State because Somalilanders are dirt-poor Black Africans and therefore the acepted human values of self-determination and human dignity do not apply top them as far as the 'International community' is concerned. Watch how 26 countries in Europe and Eurasia were recognised in the same period Somaliland was seeking the same right to be bestwoed on ist people. Secondly, it is currently in no other country's interest to recognise Somaliland. Not Ethiopia, not Europe, not Kenya, Not South Africa. So no recognition is coming. But neither is re-union with Somalia. Both sides must accept this and try to live with it.
