And by the way there rumours swirling around Somaliland that you gave a 'reserach' contract to a Somalia agency. That is not how to make friends and influence people in Somaliland. You wouldnt dare gfiving a contract in Kosove to a Serbian agency will you? Dont think so.

Here we have a UN agency claiming credit for the 'success' of a thousand year old industry that overwhelming takes place in somaliland a country that dare not even mention.

Somalia has the longest coastline in Africa. Image if we exploited those resources instead of letting fishermen as far away as South Korea illegally fishing in our waters, we could make billion of dollars from Marine resources alone!

Somalia imports $350 million worth of Khat a year so all that revenue from Livestock is wasted on a Drug rather than development. That's why locally funded developments are rarity in Somalia.

Look at how free & happy those men are. They take care of their livestock & make money. Thanks to the EU & FAO for supporting Somalias' most vital economic sector. Major investment is needed to increase value addition. I am very happy after reading this article.
