 FiqiJin,

Someone is very wrong and that is the president and his acts condemn him. I don't particularly find the PM a seasoned politician but I believe he is right on this one and we should acknowledge it.

    FiqiJin @ 10/27/2014 9:02 AM EST
Who is Farah Sakiin? I am not familiar with that dude!
    FiqiJin @ 10/27/2014 8:59 AM EST
I can debate Topclan, but sonofsomalia: you are too emotional. You will never be able to handle the truth!

Fiqicigal1,

For me, I don't even care about who is wrong and who is right between these two so called leaders ( they cannot even lead a goat to its pen)! The problem is adults behaving like children, at the expense of a nation which has already suffered tremendously. They don't even have a big government to run--that is the sad part!

For once I agree with you, the PM is on the right sidd of history, Qoslaye and his Damjiid are ruining the country. And to see Hassan Sheik create political crisis just to save individual is really amazing. But like previous conflicts, we all know how this one will be played out DJ will win, but will be damaged.
    FiqiJin @ 10/26/2014 11:03 PM EST
Yeah, we know your contribution to Somalia: Operation Restore Hope, UNISOM and AMISOM: Warlordism, ICU and A-Alshabab=dead Somalia. A country completely dismantled!
    FiqiJin @ 10/26/2014 10:51 PM EST
 Topclan,

Me, I need cure? You are the one who looted a nation and destroyed its government! Kkkk.
    topclan @ 10/26/2014 4:12 PM EST
There is no conflict between the president and PM, this is about Farah Sakiin and whether he is good for the country or not.

Farah Sakiin is destroying the constitution and judiciary and unless steps are to taking the country will be in the hands of one faction.
    fiqicigaal1 @ 10/26/2014 3:43 PM EST
The PM has the right to reshuffle his cabinet it is in the constitution and anyone who says different is wrong. So what is Mr Hassan’s problem with the reshuffle?  Very simple.  The president is a dictator who ignores the constitution and wants to rule by force regardless of what the constitution says or what others want even when they are right to the point. We must support the PM for he is right on this one and we shouldn't let another dictator mislead us again we don't want anarchy and chaos enough is enough.

    topclan @ 10/26/2014 2:57 PM EST
I think many people who might not even like the PM will support him because Damul Jadid wanted to control the judiaciary and constitution in order to fix the next general election in their favor.

Damul Jadid should accept other positions in the cabinet but the constitution and judiciary should be independent of the government or group.

Fiqjin lives in completely different dimension called the Tribal Dimension. He can't see anything that isn't in tribal form.

Don't you think the problem is those who contrubute absolutely nothing to the Somali state yet want to have everything for themselves.

Barre Yusuf, Sharmarke, and Gaas, although Barre had his good moments, but the other three, no thanks.

Look who's talking! Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil!

Don't you know that a nation belongs to those who contribute something to it?  All you do is shout against Mogadishu and living off of Mogadishu.
    sonofsomalia @ 10/26/2014 1:55 PM EST
 Roble (FB),

Agree, we need to abolish one of the two posts, iether pres or prem, simple as that.
    sonofsomalia @ 10/26/2014 1:52 PM EST
 FiqiJin,

I pray allah cures you of your tribal hatred, your constant outburst indicates deep damage, tell us what was done to you, sharing is first step in curing

 TopClan

The division of power is cristal clear on the constitution, but Somalis do not respect the constitution, so its really not worth the paper its written on. Each camp reads it how they wish, plus lets not forget the thousand pound elevant in the room. A colleague of mine once described Somalis as micro UN complete with nation states competing at all levels and on all things. So no wonder we find ourselve on the same road constantly.
    FiqiJin @ 10/26/2014 1:02 PM EST
 Topclan,

Mogadishu is not the Mogadishu all Somalis loved. Of course, the city is a victim itself. The problem is the wild, uncivilized people that destroyed and occupy it with no leaders to lead the city or the nation.
    topclan @ 10/26/2014 11:55 AM EST
   FiqiJin

You never miss an opportunity to criticise Mogadishu, do you?
    topclan @ 10/26/2014 11:51 AM EST
People keep bringing up the PM has to consult the president, either people don't know what that means or are interpreting it the wrong way.

Do their powers overlap or do they have separate powers?  Is the Somali state an auction house where the highest bidder wins?

How can any work get done if they president has to agree every time the PM wants to change something or someone?

If the both of them says no, how can that be solved? that is why you have either one person or many people where the majority or a good majority make the final decision.

The PM is the head of the ministers and has responsibility of cabinet, so let him sort it out how he likes. The president has been given the responsibility and freedom of appointing the PM,  but now he has to give the PM the freedom to appoint ministers, because the PM is the one who is held responsible by parliament if the ministers are failing in their jobs.
    FiqiJin @ 10/26/2014 11:21 AM EST
 Wiif,

This place Mogadishu and its childish politics is the black hole which sunk and still sinking the Somali people. These people haven't grownup! What a shame!
    wiifgarow @ 10/26/2014 10:32 AM EST
Fight! Fight! Fight! ..but you dont need any encouragement do you really? Good for us ion Somaliland I suppose. yet another incompetent, foreign-spawned, foreign-created, foreign-funded, foreign-defended mirage of a government all over itself over something or the other. This is what happens when you do not have the will or the trust of the people to anchor you. Two little observations about PM ASbdiwelis cabinet: Almsot all of them are non-entities. They appaer to have a very succesful charisma bypass operations. They do not have charcaters like Fowziya, Yussur, Oomaar, Buba, Galaydh..Sorry are all othese from Somaliland? Maybe you should pay us to send quality human material to spruce up your politics for you. And sorry but I dont President Culsow si a thief or embezzler. He is the best thing you've hadf for a long time. And I dont know Abdiweli so I wil not say anything about him.
    Baghdad bob @ 10/26/2014 1:00 AM EST
It seems some people have not yet learnt their lesson and a repeat is a must. The president should arraign him before the parliament, remove him with the support of issaq, hawiye and d/mirifle mps and be done with the matter.
    hiomar @ 10/26/2014 12:58 AM EST
The president has to resign this time he can't run this country he is not suitable to be a president.
    nuun @ 10/25/2014 11:04 PM EST
The advice which is mostly coming from president's opposition, for the PM to work unilaterally and ignore the president is immature one that led to this mess.
The PM cannot ignore the president. The PM is appointee of the president and PM is required by law to consult and get the agreement from the President before taking any decision.
I'm not saying president Hassan is the best president in the world but I do believe that he is person that anyone with a reasonable mind can work with. People work with far worst leaders and still become effective in their positions.
I think this total failure from PM's part. He listened to some clan chauvinists and oppositions that mislead him to create unnecessary crisis in worst possible time.
    Sheikh @ 10/25/2014 10:10 PM EST
Mr. Abdiweli, you are the PM do what is right. The president
Should not interfer your job.
    nabat-doon @ 10/25/2014 9:26 PM EST
President Hassan has to act quick and decisive, this PM is total wacky, we know this man was working darodisim behind the seen and that is unacceptable. Mr Bidaar's time is up has to go to Garowe where his master lives
    sonofsomalia @ 10/25/2014 8:05 PM EST
 TopClam

I would not read too much on any hidden Garowe agreement, after all Qoslaye was in agreement, and if he saw clan alliance he would have rejected early. In nutshell this is a designed conflict, it has been decided that no Somali goverment shall reign longer than 6 months. This way we never develop institutionalized beaurocracy, only ministers in transit working on their retirement plan. By the way Qoslaye lost political legitamacy long time ago, he has been rubber stamp for RC (Regional Community), with blessing of the IC.
    soolboy @ 10/25/2014 7:31 PM EST
Endless Conflict in Somalia. Inexperience politicians collided again. We need to replace both of them soon as possible and replace with experience politicians.
    topclan @ 10/25/2014 6:37 PM EST
 sonofsomalia

It just occurred to me, do you think that when he was in Garowe signing the agreement with Puntalnd the PM had been promised full support by Gaas if he the president rejected the reshuffle. I'm thinking that may be Gaas told the PM Puntland will support him and perhaps Jubbaland too, to gang up on Hassan Ethiopia. But that will probably not work because as we know Somalis will cry clanism and everything is clan related, especially when the PM and leaders of Puntland and Jubbaland are from the same clan.

I hope the MPs for their sake understand that it's bad and unhealthy for the country for one faction to rule the country illegally.
    topclan @ 10/25/2014 6:08 PM EST
I'm enjoying so much Farah Sakiin no longer being able to destroy the constitution and judiciary. Let's hope Hassan Ethiopia isn't successful in reinstating him.
    topclan @ 10/25/2014 5:57 PM EST
 sonofsomalia

Somalis are easily distracted but they can't hide their corruption and incomepetence because you have to blind not to see it.

A two year fight? that is ambitious!

We know there wont be a one person one election in 2016 but there is no way either Somalis or the IC will accept an extension for the PTFG and Hassan Ethiopia.

Hassan will have failed if there is no one person one vote election in 2016 and his conflicts with his PMs, whether it's real or not, will be another nail in coffin.

Somalia's system is confusing, the president is allowed to appoint a Prime Minister but he can't sack him, parliament elects the president but they are neither elected nor are they accountable to anyone.

You can't say the president is right because he was elected unlike the PM, the president was elected by an unelected parliament.
    sonofsomalia @ 10/25/2014 5:10 PM EST
The plan is extend the fight as long as possible, then claim no election possible in 2016, plus they will request extension of their term, in meeting at Kampala or Adis.
    sonofsomalia @ 10/25/2014 5:06 PM EST
Guys, dont fall for this charade, pres and PM are closer than you think, this fight was scheduled for September, we are just running a month behind. Its designed to distract the Somali people and hide the imcompetence/corruption of these clowns.
    kismayoman @ 10/25/2014 4:59 PM EST
Time is up for president culusoow it beyond belief he lasted this long. too many scandals.
PM c/wali is within constitutional right to reshuffle his cabinet.

I agree with you....we must impeach
the smiling thief.
    Nomadic Man @ 10/25/2014 4:40 PM EST
This soft puppet thief is playing
with our future....we got better things to
do like to defend Somali waters from Kenya.
We are suppose to fight that and not this.
All Somalis are fools.
    Zami @ 10/25/2014 4:36 PM EST
Hassan Sheik Mohamud must be impeached. He has engaged in a conspiracy to embezzle Somali funds, now he has interfered in the PM of Somalias' work. The current president is a total disgrace. He cares more about his friends being in power than the country. He must go now!
