topclan @ 4/10/2014 10:34 AM EST  IRIN is used by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) to probagate news about Somalia and places like it, like many of the aid agencies based in Kenya it feeds on Somalia's destruction and lawless. Are the security problems in Somalia which IRIN is reporting forgotten, under-reported, misunderstood or ignored? The answer is no.  Somalia is in the eye of IC more than ever before and it hasn't told us anything much that we didn't already know from the news coverages on Somalia. I am sure there are places that are more under-reported than Mogadisho inside and outside Somalia, so why is IRIN making this report? Is it to seem relevant or to probagate for its agencies who feed from the chaos in Somalia? We know this report is being used to portray as if nothing has changed in Somalia and to extort even more money from the poor western and IC public with the lie of helping Somalia.
