The mistreatment of Somali Muslims and non-Somali Kenyan Muslims will unfortunately benefit Al-Shabab in recruiting more Kenyans. With good intelligence, the Kenyan government could have targeted the bad guys. Whereas now, Kenya seems bent on mass arrests and deportation of Somali Muslims, including some Kenyan Somalis on one hand; and harassment of non-Somali Kenyan Muslims! If only could President Huuro Kenyatta listen to Paul Hidalgo, he could have spared Kenya from much more radicalization of its own people.
