Buhari spoke the truth, Somali leaders have FAILED!!! I wish the author of this article was critical of Somali "leaders". We must critisize our leaders and hold their feet to the fire if they do not represnt us. Somali leaders are unelected, some are corrupt. The worst leaders in Somalia take power because the good people don't crave power as much as them. Psychopaths will always crave and seek power.

 Wiil Isxaaq,

You have no right to feel or say that all Somalis in the southern part are guilty of a crime perpetrated by a dictator and his army of all Somali clans. No body sang " Aabe Siyaad..." better than Siilaanyo when he was part of that government! This is not about south vs. north problem, except in the minds of some who live in fantasy, la-la land!

The funny thing is now Egbo's control the banking and military. Rather than being afraid to dominate, the Nigerian gov instead handed the power to Egbos.

Unlike Zoomalis who will never let go of one thing they like i.e power untill they die and take everybody with them. Just a few weeks a go they were all having wet dreams about having control of Isaaq by air counting helicopters and other things they can use to kill Isaaq. All just because the UN was considering giving Zoomalia a little control of its airspace so they can receive more money.

Aabbahay wuxuu na oranjiray " Ilma-Cawiif iyo aabbahood tubaakada ilkahooda dishay ku cibaara qaata"
Buhari hadduu u digay dadkiisa kuna hadal qabsaday ummaddeenna falan maxaa loola yaabaa!

 Wiif

" Egbos are like Somalilandesr to Somalis - the more indsutrious, more civilised, more honest, more intelligent, and of course more modest"

Perhaps the Wanlayn "modest" is different from the one
practiced by our northern brothers!

Mr. Said, Soomaalida qaar baa Geela aad u qiimeeya dameerkana
aan u arag inuu wax tar yahay. Soomaalidaasu waxay ku maah-maahdaa:

"Aabahay baa geel lahaa anigaa dameer leh baa ka fiican"

The point was not how well Somalia was in the 60's and earlier,
but what it currently is. And your article has not really
answered the point raised by the president.

Listing Nigeria's ills and your nostalgia for the Somalia of
the 60's and 70's is beside the point.

The worst disaster that befell Nigeria and the Black race in general was the defeat of the Egbo people's courageous bid for freedom by the unholy alliance of useless and corrupt Yourubas, equally corrupt and pwoer hungry Hausas, Britain, Soviet Union, US, UN, Egypt..in other words some of the same forces trying to smother Somaliland to death today 50 years later. Egbos are like Somalilandesr to Somalis - the more indsutrious, more civilised, more honest, more intelligent, and of course more modest

This whole thing is an irrelevant response to General/president Buhari. This reads like a one-sided, uncalled for tit for tat for nothing!
