Read Obama's quotes very careful, what he is saying is that Ethiopian soldiers are tough in comparison with Kenyan and Ugandan troops.

He should know if he didn't already that Al-Shabaab cannot be defeated without Somalis and that Somalis will ultimately decide who wins.

Ethiopia is doing what it is good, the pr game. It looks to those shallow enough to buy it but look close enough you can see it is nothing but a shell.
