We are techinacally part of Ethiopia now. All so called lands reports to Addis. We better stop dreaming the big hole already swallowed us. I am already learning Ethiopian national anthem.

I suggest that the Somalis borrow a page from the Ethiopian Reconciliation and Nation-building BOOK. They are multi-lingual, multi-religion and multi-many-other things. They had numerous civil wars but they, miraculously, still managed to put their country ahead of every thing else- and that's why they're continuously moving forward-together. Call me what you like but I give the ETHIOPIANS credit for their hard-earned nation-building skills that the Somalis , in general, seem to lack.

Below I what I wrote in another comment section 3rd October:

"ethiopia is doing a lot of things in its dreams. building dams, major roads, railway lines, major international airports, space center, exporting electricity to neighboring countries and now exporting natural gas. next it will be, landing on the moon, building space center on mars! This is the beauty of dreams, you are not bound by reality."

The above are called "White Elephant" projects in the context of 3rd world countries.

Yes but will they train the Bole airport staff who are glum, grim, slow, incompetent and allergic to customer care. They appear to think they are doing you a mega favour by just letting you live!
