 I'll try again.
Sami Elmi,
1. Moving the capital to Hargeisa was mooted in the 90s, however many people there rejected the idea and I believe this remains so.
2. I have to respectfully disagree with you - Muqisho has received investment from both foreigners and Diaspora. Why is Turkish private sector investing into Muqdisho’s sea port and airport if they can’t make a profit or think the city is too dangerous? How do you explain the property boom that occurred and continues occur in Muqdisho? You don’t have property booms in warzones! Privately owned commercial banks are opening in Muqdisho first rather than any other city in Somalia. The Somali government revenue is heavily dependent on Muqdisho’s airport and sea port. Unfortunately Somalia has no effective taxation system. Tribal federalism has meant that tribal states’ do not collect any tax for the Somali government, instead prefer to keep the revenues from Bossaso and Kismaayo ports for themselves, while at the same time demanding money from Muqdisho.

to see the likes of you claim common ancestry called irir
for fear of darod revenge just shows your lack of
self confidence. siyaad barre may have ruled
your savages, but you proofed to be insubordinate,
that is why we shall not rule you. we will eliminate
you. we have sufficient D block population
to replace your insignificant unworthy and insubordinate
savages.

your definition of victory and defeat and mine are
quite different. in my standards siyaad barre was not defeated
because no one emerged to replace him.
by your standards, the suffering,displacement,and
immigration of the Somali people from their homeland
to foreign nations is a victory against barre.

If you took over your towns from Darood, kkkkk,
would mind telling me where the hell did the Idoor
terrorists come from??kkkkkkkk
You mention Dadaab and all the other places including
Europe,North America and even Middle East countries...yes
they are all Darood....that's why i'm telling you Darood are
majority people of Somalia. When Somalia stand on it's feet...
all the Somali diaspora which is another word for Darood,we'll all
and always vote for Darood president....that's why I'm saying Somalia
belongs to Darood.kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Your are welcome brother...

"Long live the Irir brotherhood between our two noble clans." This is $1 million sentence.

Deeqlee,

You are good to have acknowledged the truth here, however we all must know that your clan is part of Somali people or society in terms of everything of ethnicity; culture, relation and blood. As for your information, no body h'ates Darod but we do not trust you politically and that is very obvious.

Also to educate you, you cannot avenge from Isaaq or Hawiye because they are too strong to get avenged, you cannot b'eat you big brother. One intelligent person has to understand the reality and accept the subsequent defeats of the family in every battle they tried to save some dignity, but to no avail and humiliated repeatedly. You need to kiss the hand that you cannot cut off ... that is to say  a wise man's idea.

that is where you are wrong. you only had the chance
to oust siyaad because the SPM toke arms against him since
he signed agreement with Ethiopia.
if it wasnt because of that, you and the iidoors would
still be kissing barres feet and singing aabow siyaad noolow.
if hawiye and isaaq can ever rule somalia, why did
hawiye opt for anarchy, and isaaq for seperation ?

 deeqlee,

I want AMISOM out, I want all foreign forces in Somalia gone! Foreigners military in Somalia has only prolonged the crisis in Somalia and prevents its resolution.

It was you Dooros under Abdullahi Yusuf in 2006 supported the Ethiopian invasion, agreed to AMISOM's deployment in 2007 and conspired along with Kenyan Ogaden parasites to facilitate Kenyan invasion of 2011.

 nassiromar,

Brother thank you for your kind words, the SNM and USC will always be revered for saving the Somali people from Afweyne's despotic Dooro tyranny.

The SNM under the leadership of the Mujahid Silyano defeated Afweyne's forces in the north and USC under the leadership of General Aideed ( Allah may grant him Jannah) defeated Afweyne forces in the South 3 times. Once in 1991 US liberated the capital forcing Afweyne to flee, then twice in 1992 when Afweyne and Morgan attempted to regain power from their basis in Gedo. The sacrifices and heroism of SNM and USC fighters will never be forgotten.
Long live the Irir brotherhood between our two noble clans.

it is true, the bulk of the refugees in dhadhaab hail from
the D block. they are all victims of clan cleansing
that happened in xamar and hargaisa. but every dog has a
day and these people will be avenged at expense of eliminating
certain Somali clans from the African continent.
    deeqlee @ 5/24/2015 10:07 AM EST
 nasiromar

your claim of the siyaad barre goverment being
overthrown solely by the clans of hawiye
and isaaq has no basis. the six southern regions in somalia
which housed the majority of the somali milatary
were liberated by the SPM. that gave USC the chance to
over-run the central command in xamar, which in turn
gave the SNM the chance to actually
enter the main northwest cities since the bulk of the
military in the northwest were now shifted to the south
and central regions to neutralise the USC threat.

Wise words. But AMISOM are not the only ones. Do you think it is in the interests of Somali govt to defeat Al-Shabab? They will pack their bags the very next day and return to their Social Security given houses and snuggle up to their social security-fed wives. Do you think Museveni would liek Al-Shabab defeated/ How about litt djib autocrat? And Kenyatta boy? Nkurunziza is actively using al-Shabab as a scarecrow to remain in power. Lest all hope change comes to Washington and the wirst Us president Africa has ever known is not replaced by his mentor and matriarch. I am praying for a Republican victory

first, why attack the amisom in kismyaayo and not the ones in
xamar ?
a true nationalist is sayid mohamed abdulle hassan.
he never chose one foreign invader over another
and equally fought the Italians,English and the Ethiopians.
second, your claim of the capital city as a tribal ancestral
homeland is exactly what is causing the radical clan division
and will only culminate in further bloodshed. third, if you
can not accept the capital to be neutral territory
shared by all Somalis, why do you have such a problem
in having it moved to a neutral zone.

You sound to be shirt-minded person in your comments by suggesting that great Hawiye rescued Isaaq from Ziad Barre's onslaught.
That would have been fine on us if it really happened for fact, but the fact is that Isaaq f'ought in the north or Somaliland while Hawiye did f'ight in the south and then we are in alliance for the defeat of your late Afwayne's military government.
There was not any group of either Hawiye or Isaaq who fought other's territory,i.e. Hawiye did not fight in the north and neither did Isaaq fought in the South.

As for history, let me take a bit in history by mentioning that cities and towns in Somaliland like Hargeisa, Burao, Berbera and Erigavo were all home of Darood clan about 170 years ago. So, you think you gave us this as a gift or did we beat you with our bare hands to take up 250000 km squared?

I do not need to boast myself here, but let me remind you that people su'ffering in refugee camps in Kenya and Ethiopia, also those suffering South Africa and beyond hail mainly from your clan not Hawiye or Isaaq, so this sums up our difference of what each clan is.
    deeqlee @ 5/24/2015 8:34 AM EST
the issue is not the capital but rather the complicated
tactics employed by the alshabab in their methods.
first, the only way to defeat them is by ground invasion
of their bases which the amisom forces are reluctant to do
because of financial reasons. second the Americans can not
bombard their bases because the alshabaab deploy hundreds of
young kids to their bases to use them as a human shield but
to also indoctrinate and brain wash them.
so the Americans are reduced to targeted bombardment
specially when the alshabab commanders are mobile
which does not damage their forces significantly.
the only way to defeat them is via ground assault
by well equipped Somali forces which the government is
reluctant to explore due to the radical clan division.

Your fear for Darood is why you want to separate from Somalia.
You can make your own country  called Idoorland which is made up of Hargaysa,

Well said brother, you sound like General M. Farah Aideed ( Allah may bless his soul in Jannah).
We Idoor wish Hawiye and Dir get united and rule themselves in Somalia and that they do not buy any cheap political garbages from other cheap people.

In my view, it will get worse than now before it gets better as people in the south or Somalia are still struggling to stand on their feet politically.
People like you are emerging nowadays in Somalia, and that is a good sign for people to stand courageously for their affairs. I encourage you guys to keep the good job by dictating with your power politically and economically.

As you may know, we Isaaq or Idoor respect you Hawiye and other decent clans in Somalia and wish you good luck to keep up the good job of standing on your feet.

When it comes to population Darood are
the majority in Somalia....that's how it

 Ismail Laites,

Dooro politicians in the Federal Parliament, Majertenia Parliament, Dooro "intellectuals", Dooro political pundits have for years been peddling the idea of moving the capital to Garowe. Don't pretend you have not noticed this. Personally I hope you Dooros declare independence and form your country and capital. I like the majority of Hawiye are sick and tired of you deluded, arrogant, lazy and back stabbing Dooros. At least the Idoors have the courage to go their own way and form their own country and capital. You Dooros instead prefer to remain parasites and dictate to everyone in the false ideology of "Somali unity".

You Dooros supported the Ethiopian invasion in 2006, AMISOM deployment in 2007 with Majerteen President Abudllahi Yusuf. All Dooros supported the Kenyan invasion in 2011, with Majerteen PM Gas & Majertania President Faroole supporting the Kenyan invasion. Now you Dooro cowards are hiding behind the Kenyans in Lower Jubba, and attacking other tribes that refuse to submit to the cowardly Ethiopian Oagden criminal Madoobe with KDF support.

    Observer2014 @ 5/24/2015 1:27 AM EST
 Nomadic Man,
It's both! Furthermore, Xamar has been the Somali capital from independence in 1960 and when the Italians acquired the Benadir coast from the Sultante of Zanzibar in 1891. Xamar is the Rome of Africa!

 Sami Elmi,

1. Where exactly should the capital be moved, perhaps Hargeisa? That won’t make the Daaroods that are demanding the capital be moved too pleased.
2. With all due respect you are simply wrong. The costs of moving government offices, security will be exorbitant. Muqdisho is the cash cow of Somalia, Muqdisho’s airport and seaport is heavily supported the Somali Federal Government. As for foreign investments? Where have you been for the past 2 or 3 years? Why are foreigners investing in Muqdisho’s transport infrastructure, new port, new airport terminal? Diaspora are investing in Muqdisho, new private international banks such as Premier Bank and International Bank of Somalia owned by Somalis are being opened first in Xamar. Seriously name one any northern city that has better “infrastuure and institutions” than Xamar. Please don’t buy into the separatists and Puntland propaganda. Both those semi-autonomous clan regimes are dependent on foreign aid.

http://allafrica.com/stories/201402190480.html

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/boost-for-development-in-somaliland

Muqdisho is undergoing a property boom in recent years, and there is no signs it is abetting - this is not the characteristic of city in crisis.
http://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2013/jan/11/mogadishu-manhattan-somalis-return-progress

3. The attacks organised by Al Shabaab in Garowe small in comparison to Xamar, Kismaayo and other southern cities.  However if the seat of power moves, Al Shabaab attacks will also move to a new target. Remember Al  Shabaab objective is the overthrow of the Somali government, wherever it located.  TFG in Jowar and Baidoa (2004-2006) were repeatedly attacked, for those who have short term memories.  The people who wanted to move the capital form Xamar to a Daarood barren and desert cities like Garowe or Bossasso, are motivated by tribalism. That I why I react they way I do. I understand how Daaroods think and behave, and I know what their true agendas are meaning when they talk about “Federalism” or “moving the capital”.
Any incident, whether that be an assassination or bomb, automatically Daarood hordes start besmirching Xamar.  Daaroods talk in codes and euphemism, as if we don’t know what they are saying or planning. When people attack and insult Xamar, they are attacking and insulting Hawiye. Xamar is our spiritual home and we will never betray Xamar, we are the descendents of the honourable and magnificent Ajuuraan Sulatante.
4. The Somali government, with members of clans and regions of Somalia have improved foreign relations with traditional and new allies. We have had Turkish, Qatari, UAE dignitaries visiting Xamar. With have established diplomatic links with GCC countries, were strengthening our economic an political relations with them.
Muqdisho the engine of the Somali economy, it has the best and biggest airport and seaport, largest population (market) and access to the fertile lands of the Shebelle and Juba basins.
You may want to give up on Xamar, we the Hawiye will never give up our capital. We are investing and rebuilding this glorious and ancient city.

1. You sound like a bitter Daarood, moving the Capital to a Daarood city Garowe, is a Daarood fantasy; they think they can regain power that way.
2. Not it is not rational, the costs of moving government building, security is will make it prohibitive.  Somalia simply does not have the money, who can compete with Xamar’s airport or seaport?  Garowe? Lol
3. What makes you think Al Shabaab cannot operate with impunity in this “new” capital? Are you not aware that Al Shaabab has killed UN personnel in Garowe and murdered government officials in Bossasso, let alone have bases in the Galgala mountains?  There will always be fighting where there is political and economic power.
Moving the capital is absurdity,  Muqdisho  is the historical, economic and political heart of Somalia. Muqdisho/Xamar was the capital of Ajuuraan Sultante. We the Hawiye will never accept to be governed anywhere else except Xamar.
    Observer2014 @ 5/23/2015 8:51 PM EST
 Sami Elmi,

Moving the capital is a Daarood fantasy, why don't you people just declare independence and form your own country?

Al Shabaab is active Garowe, Bososso and Galgala mountains.
