Certainly reer waqooyi didn’t choose succession, it was imposed on them and they knew it won’t work, but because of the chaotic situation people found themselves at the time they were forced to toe the clan line. And after so many years of confusion and lie after lie all they are trying to do is survive and make good out of clan system that will end up in tears.
