 Nomadicman

We might have peace in puntland but it is now under threat.
The IC has declared they stand behind culusow who is currently
A weak dictator. His mooryaan clan are currently receiving tons
Of military training to make up the future Somali military officers.
Few years down the line, culusow will get access to sophisticated
Military equipment by leading the bulk of our land to foreighners.
Taking arms against this evil dictator and the forighn colonisers will safe millions of Somali lives in the long run.

This current government has failed us in many
ways. Why they didn't do a population census
throughout Somalia or atleast the liberated areas
from Alshabaab?? They didn't because  they thought they could
extend their stay so they can do nothing and make millions.
We all know that they incompetent and corrupt and wasted four years
of Somalia's time. They have no vision to unite the Somali family. Infact
they still want to use the method of division introduced to us by the devil.
Ok Somalis you want to waste another four under occupation? Ok knock yourselves
out because it's not Puntland who are under occupation and it's not our children
and women living in a war zone.

Are federal regions sharing power or is the dominant clan dictating to other clans?

You can't just make something and expect people to accept it as the truth.

In fact, it's the completely opposite and regional governments are dominated by one man or clan and they choose members of their own clan and their allies.

You expect the imbalance of power in regional government to not be repeated in the national government by having these imbalanced regions choose MPs to represent them in the national assembly?

Anyway, the people of the regions will not select MPs for the national assembly, it will be selected by the self anointed regional "leaders" and their paymasters.

The people didn't even select their local MPs and leaders, so how can they select MPs for the national assembly?

It's not a question of local and or even representation, but a question of transparency, fairness and inclusivity.

I wonder why they oppose regions select
their own M.P's???
This 4.5 was a temporary solution as he puts
it in the article... Then why we got to go through it again???
Every country on planet Earth elect their lawmakers from their
regions.... And if Somalis want to build their Country then they
should do the same. This 4.5 thing will only produce useless leaders
like the puppet  laughing thief.

 Mr. Gosar,

I am sorry to say that your argument about your third group simply doesn't hold water. If this group is supportive of federalism, then they are for clan power sharing. Somalia Federalism is based on clan power-sharing. The issue is whether regions select their own representatives locally or we go back to the old ways of elders gathered in Mogadishu to decide for 4.5 formula. We don't know whether choosing national MPs in regions will end up in an unfair advantage for dominant clans in these regions. What is wrong with allowing clans in regions to decide together on power sharing in MP selections? Every clan, big or small, should be at the table regionally and agree on an equitable representation in Mogadishu!
