It represents clan federalism which will Balkanise Somalia along tribal lines. This is so funny! The aura of invincibility and the arrogance of competing with the national government evaporated for good. At times to keep the reputation of being fierce and the false sense of entitlement that comes with it, its best recommended not to engage any activity that may blow off the cover. sadly enough for puntland, they became entangled with galmudug and now the likes of sakin are coming to their aid. If mudug becomes two regions, what is there To prevent other regions from doing the same. A United mudug region should be administered by one state. Puntland should never accept galmudug because it is a violation of the Constitution and it will lead to 18 federal states in Somalia.     soolboy @ 11/30/2015 11:23 AM EST  Galkacayo should be under federal government.The mini states like puntland and Galmudug should not be governing Galkacayo. Also Cumar Abdirashid should not be a peace broker because he is punlander. Puntland says the constitution requires 2 states or more can make a federal state. Galmudug is 1 & half which means it cannot be a federal state. Galmudug is seeking a legitimacy to exist as a federal state. Starting a war against Puntland and then seating in the same table with Puntland may be seen as equal states. Abdikarim Guled has shown time and again that the only negotiation he knows is the use of force. Remember when Habargidir elders tried to negotiate with him, he beat them up. Instead of lobbying to modify the federal constitution, he opted the use of force to legitimize his illegal administration. Instead of negotiating with Puntland, he chose war. Galmudug will not reach its goal as long as Abdikarim Guled is their leader.     Nomadic Man @ 11/30/2015 9:37 AM EST  We don't want another Hawiye President. Since they don't want one man one vote because they fear the Darood will win hands down. we'll accept non Hawiye President. Darood and Hawiye we've failed Somalia therefore let's pave way for other Somalis to lead and let's become the Military since we like to fight and protect our country....that's the only solution to this madness.     Nomadic Man @ 11/30/2015 9:27 AM EST  Come 2016 the laughing qabiliiste thief must go. He's failed Somalia....he's a threat to the unity of Somalia. Instead of letting Gaas and Guled know who is their boss, he sided with Guled for qabiil reason and sent him some weapons and still Puntland managed not only defeat them also seize their new weapons distributed to them by the laughing thief.
