 Wiifgarow,

Do not stoop to the level of faqash and
the poor hawiyas whom they manipulate.

A Rahman forgives or punishes whomever he likes;
therefore please refrain from speaking on
the creators behalf. Be a reasonable and
civilized man.

With that said, lets watch how the Daroods
cry faul everytime a singing habar or an older
man dies out of heart attack. Lets see
how much abuse and name bashing can take lol.

 Topclan,
The Late Abdullahi Isse was asked to be vaccinated before leaving for New York and a volunteer who resembled him took the jab in his place, fearing that the colonialists might poison him!
Fortunately no poison was administered, though the brave/suicidal guy was ready to give his life for the cause of independence.
That sort of spirit is impossible to reemerge , unfortunately.,
    secular @ 11/1/2014 12:51 PM EST
 Topclan,
One sentence is enough to make a point, and , to mimic Charles Barkley, "any thing more than that is uncivilized".
If the arguing becomes endless, the rationale about the whole topic will be inevitably lost in translation and also annoys us, quasi-innocent bystanders!
Regarding the president's power over the PM, he should follow the constitution and do "thing" through a vote of confidence (and he has a leverage on the MPs, as we all know).
    logs4017 @ 11/1/2014 12:37 PM EST

How do you think a young man can blow him self up without being given mind altering substances?? I said that it would be unique if this was an assassination by poison and was carried out by Somalis, as there have never been Something like this in Somali history.

Fiqijin, instead of refuting my statement by giving an example, goes on his usual clannish bandwagon. I indulge him debating with, but he is only interested is to satisfy clannish desires. By the time I finish debating him, I have forgotten what we were talking about.
    secular @ 11/1/2014 12:05 PM EST
 Fiqi,
Waan ku salaamay marka hore.
The debate of the two was going fine, but their skirmishes morphed into advocacy for their respective "camps", and it was necessary to instill in their thoughts some kind of a measure.
Regarding the deceased official, we don't know the circumstances of the events that claimed his lifeand anything  at this stage is speculation. Mass arrest of suspects is also a knee jerk reaction that could backfire on those in charge, starting from the PM.
Wiif,
The departed is beyond the reach of anyone who might have any grudges against him and his body is still warm.
Leave the matter to history and it's not customary in our culture to seek revenge of a dead man.
    wiifgarow @ 11/1/2014 11:04 AM EST
No mention of the accusations against the dead man then? Is this objective reporting HOL? Dont you think you have at least a professional duty to do so?
    fiqicigaal1 @ 11/1/2014 10:20 AM EST
On a serious note, I don't think he was poisoned or murdered it was a natural death I believe. The PM should not have dramatized the issue it will only make things more complex. Never the less, an investigation must be carried out anyways. .
    fiqicigaal1 @ 11/1/2014 10:12 AM EST

    topclan @ 10/31/2014 9:47 PM EST
 FiqiJin

Why are AMISOM in Somalia? Mostly to fight Al-Shabaab who had taken over the country. Why did Al-Shabaab take over? Darood sanctioned and US funded Ethiopia invasion of Somalia and massacre of civilians in Mogadishu.

Why did Ethiopia invade? ICU took over the country and brought peace and stability back to the country.

Ethiopia and Kenya invasions of were supported and sanctioned by one clan and you know who you are, Fiqijin.
    FiqiJin @ 10/31/2014 9:26 PM EST
Nothing like as grandiose as yours. Hint: a dead republic being rehabilitated by Ugandan soldiers. Siyad Barre looks like a statesman after you looted the state and sold it at the Bakara Market!
    topclan @ 10/31/2014 9:24 PM EST
 FiqiJin

Mogadishu is still your king even after everything it has gone through and everything you said you have achieved(clan enclave), you're living on Mogadishu handouts.

You talk too much but you have nothing but Mogadishu and IC handouts.
    topclan @ 10/31/2014 9:12 PM EST
 FiqiJin

Well, why don't you accept your misdeeds first so we can move on? I'll give a clue, it's looking at the you right now!

No?!! Don't want to know about that, right? You are going to close our eyes?
    FiqiJin @ 10/31/2014 9:00 PM EST
The only mistrust which destroyed governance is the one created in Mogadishu, and Somalia is still reeling from it.
    FiqiJin @ 10/31/2014 8:58 PM EST
Oh, you now want to blame your misdeeds on Mogadishu and the capital city! Lol. When are you going to take responsibility? The TPLF, when they were overthrowing Mingistu next door, did not behave like that. Nor did Addis made them go ape!
    topclan @ 10/31/2014 8:46 PM EST
 FiqiJin

It could be explained by many things including that Mogadishu was the capital and the seat of power, hence the war would was more bloody there than in the north.

T*rture and m*ssacre by clan hegemony is not only the cause of the Somali civil war, it also explains the mistrust, division and stateless of Somalia.
    FiqiJin @ 10/31/2014 8:27 PM EST
If t*rture and m*ssacre by clan hegemony can explain you destroying governance, then how come those who suffered the most from Siyad regime, the north westerners, did not behave like anim*ls like you?
    topclan @ 10/31/2014 8:16 PM EST
And there would be no Somali civil war if there was not a clan hegemony, massacres and tor-ure.
    FiqiJin @ 10/31/2014 8:02 PM EST
Would we need clan federalism but for you not ruling--not continuing the government? You are responsible for it!
    topclan @ 10/31/2014 7:58 PM EST
 FiqiJin

"all Somalis lived and invested in with no clan identity."

What, like the opposite of clan federalism?
    FiqiJin @ 10/31/2014 7:42 PM EST
Firstly, I did not mention the name, lest you go crazy. Mogadishu was the most civilized and genteel city, in which all Somalis lived and invested in with no clan identity. Then the Bedouins (reer baadiye) invaded.
    topclan @ 10/31/2014 7:18 PM EST
 FiqiJin

Jumping on your usual in anti-Hawiye band wagon, I see.

Are you saying you are the Barbarians? because the people of Mogadishu cannot invade their own territory.

If refute my statement, can you give me an example?

Remind us again who this guy was? This poor innocent man! SAHAL and Barre apologists have warped mind on justice and decency.

Speaking from your high house, have you forgotten which article you are on?
    FiqiJin @ 10/31/2014 6:37 PM EST
 Topclan,

You wrote:  "Never in the history of Somalia have I heard of an assassination by poison, this is not the typical killing or assassination carried out by Somalis." Kkkk...! Wakeup and smell the coffee, this is Mogadishu. Your people there are demonically possessed; anything and everything that is shameful and animalistic is possible in Mogadishu since the invasion of it by barbarians! You people are in dire need for the rest of the Somalis to read Surat al-Yassin over you!

    xidig10 @ 10/31/2014 5:09 PM EST
Do you guys actually believe that there will be an investigation? You must have a very short term memory then! They have said they will do an investigation counless times before after an incident but it never goes any where. I have yet to see a report or some kind of a result from any of the investigations they said they will do starting from the TFG era.
    topclan @ 10/31/2014 5:01 PM EST
I forgot to add the condition if he was murdered, because we don't know if there is evidence of foul play.

We don't know if he was murdered, we are just speculating at the moment. Let's wait for the autopsy.
    topclan @ 10/31/2014 4:52 PM EST
Never in the history of Somalia have I heard of an assassination by poison, this is not the typical killing or assassination carried out by Somalis.

This is carefully carried by experts and will be very difficult to proof who is behind it even in countries with advanced science.

people are quick to blame Somalis but don't know that their country is full of the worst kind of foreign mercenaries.
    topclan @ 10/31/2014 4:40 PM EST
Since it's not an Al-Shabaab or other type of Somali killings, this requires experts to carry out this kind of assassination.

Somalia is full of so many foreign mercenaries as it is the world's most failed state, finding the culprit will be like looking for a needle in a haystack.
    sonofsomalia @ 10/31/2014 3:37 PM EST
 logs4017

It does not matter who killed him, is not like he was a Somali saviour, just another politician. With respect to Regional and International intelligence operating in Somalia, its like having sailor work at sea. In case you forgot Somalia is failed nation full of traitors and collaborators, it would be a cake walk even for Fijian intelligence service. The man most likely liquidated, lets leave it at that. If you want to clean up Somalia work to rebuild her intelligence sector.
    Zami @ 10/31/2014 3:34 PM EST
 logs4017,

You make a strong case, but for me I am firmly with the belief it was Bancroft who assassinated Gen. Mohamed Hassan. He has been stopping alot of plots since he became police chief. He just began investigating who ordered a shipping container full of magnets, explosives, suicide vests, and military uniforms to the Mogadishu Port. They were shipped from the UAE where Blackwater has its head office. Your absolutely right that Bancroft is the CIA. Bancroft entered Somalia with AMISOM as "advisers". Now they have a massive complex beside the airport. They stay in Somalia as long as AMISOM is there. They benefit the most from all the car bombs and assassinations. Every car bombs set off in Somalia they are there to "investigate". Most car bombs are set off in areas close to the airport, areas where they can reach quickly. The assassination targeted people who openly talked about Greater Somalia. Sado had a dream of one day establishing Greater Somalia, so Ethiopian involvement in her death is likely.
    logs4017 @ 10/31/2014 2:33 PM EST
The People who killed The late police chief are the same who killed Sado Ali, Its Ethiopian Intelligence Agents,Most of them are Somalis.!!!!!!
    nuun @ 10/31/2014 2:26 PM EST
This is just disgusting conduct from Abdiwal's part.
Is he trying to use this poor guy's death for political reasons?
He setup Ministerial level panel to look into the death of this guy. You must be kidding me!
What are ministers going to do?
Let me tell you something, the preferred method of getting rid of someone in Somalia is a bullet in the head. They are not schooled in these kinds of very sophisticated MOSAD style killings. They neither have the skills, resources or the patience or organization to carry such things.
    logs4017 @ 10/31/2014 2:19 PM EST
Zami, What you said remains a possibility, everything is possible in Somalia, but personally i think since Bancroft(CIA) has legal cover to work in Mogadishu its unlikely that they will carry out such bold incident Its not good for their business future ,Anyway, The share number of Somalis who work for different intelligence agencies are annoying, also the number of Somali youths indoctrinated into secret religious societies whom their interest Overlaps with regional and global intelligence agencies are very high,Somalia is like a fire web, its a place where a honest person can not stand a chance to survive.....Furthermore i would like to mention that the science have evolved so rapidly in the recent years that its possible to kill a person without leaving any body trace or marks, there is some microwave weapons which can be used from a distance or through walls which gives the target an instant heart attack, there is also some small radio active materials which can be hidden in his office, home or among his stuff which emits a killer radiation, this method was used by the Russian intelligence to kill one of their agents who defected to London years ago, not to mention hundreds of secret chemicals which are in fact used by governments to kill unwanted individuals, some of these chemicals can kill instantly, others kill in long periods, it all depends on how and when they want their targets to be killed...therefore since this recent assassination was simple straight forward one and had no sophisticated method employed, i think Ethiopian Intelligence has something to do with it. Period.
    nuun @ 10/31/2014 2:09 PM EST
Why is this different from 10s of heart attach deaths that happens to Somalis everywhere with their greasy diets and diabetes?
To arrest the poor doctors and nurses who tried to save him is just crime on its own.
Mahare_is_Here, these kind of death happens in Modadishu, daily and actually everywhere in the world. I think some people stuck in Jaalle Siyad era.
Now, I'm asking you the same question back, why is this different?
    Baghdad bob @ 10/31/2014 2:04 PM EST
The pm is playing some very useless politics. The head of the police wasn't doing well for some time and this is absolutely not a sudden death. It would have been sudden if he was in complete health but that isn't the case.
    Zami @ 10/31/2014 1:23 PM EST
 sonofsomalia & logs4017,

Thanks for giving me credit. I also believe the Ethiopian intelligence connection could be possible. We have so many traitors in Somalia. We really need to arrest them and execute them. We cannot have traitors live freely in Somalia. They are a threat and must be eliminated. I still believe it was the work of Bancroft. They are embedded with AMISOM and have a massive complex beside the airport. I guarantee they have been behind most of the random bombings and assassinations. They gain the most by keeping AMISOM in Somalia. By staging attacks people become more and more dependant on AMISOM for security which means more Bancroft.
    logs4017 @ 10/31/2014 12:48 PM EST
One more thing, Kenya doesn't have the technical capabilities to carry out full autopsy, its backward third world country full of corruption, i suspect they're going to remove the residue of any chemical substances used to kill the late police chief, at the end of the day, The relationship and alliance between Kenya and Ethiopia is more important then any Somali, no matter what political position he held, all  i can say is Alla-ya-raxma, and i hope one day Somalis will WAKE UP.
    logs4017 @ 10/31/2014 12:37 PM EST
I think the Ethiopian intelligence agents(somali agents) got rid of him, then they started using  the same Somali agents to spread rumors to stop us(somalis) from thinking independently, see how many nonsense comments at hiiraan.com that are trying  to redirect our thoughts towards the hawiye darood isaaq nonsence rhetoric, its pathetic attempt, btw Bancroft doesn't needs to smuggle anything because its working legally in Somalia with the full approval of FGS and AMISOM. Ethiopia doesn't want stable and strong Somalia to emerge in the future, Western powers and Kenya in the other hand want to see weak but stable Somalia, Thats why there have been hundreds if not thousands of mysterious assassinations in Mogadishu for EX government officials and former security agents and EX military officials. By the way its believed that most of bombings and assassinations in Mogadishu happens by death contractors and agents who work for the Ethiopian and some western intelligence agencies, personally i think the late police chief was killed because he started recently to deal with the security problem in Mogadishu, he succeeded in enforcing relative peace which encouraged international diplomats like Ban Ki Moon to take a bold step and visit the city, also some 300 million dollars was due to be wired to the Somali government soon, then this issue of PM and the President surfaced and then this mysterious assassination of police chief(if proved to be true)
    fiqicigaal1 @ 10/31/2014 12:20 PM EST
 Folks,

It takes about 6-8 weeks to complete autopsy report and until we know the result it will be only wild speculations.

    sonofsomalia @ 10/31/2014 11:46 AM EST
Interesting, Zami was first in HOL to highlight this poison and possible Bancroft relation, I suggest the police start with Zami on the their investigation.
    Mahare_is_here @ 10/31/2014 10:27 AM EST

    Zami @ 10/31/2014 10:19 AM EST
He was poisoned. Bancroft poisoned him. He was investigating who was importing alcohol and weapons into the Mogadishu Port. Bancroft has been setting off car bombs, assassinating MP's and blaming al-shabaab. They are no different than Blackwater in Iraq. I guarantee this man was on to them and they poisoned him.
    Nuun @ 10/31/2014 9:41 AM EST

Is this some kind of witch-hunt by Abdiwali group going roque.
