 I expected this type of news, and many like it, the enemies of Somalia have 6 to 8 months to show the IC the failure of Somalis as human beings, so funding gets boosted to rental soldiers and profiteers.

 Zami & Bagdhad, have faith, these series of games, humiliation by our neighbours and their friends wrapped in blue and black will not last forever. Allah has shown history has a funny way of reversing fortunes.

 @ismail

of course somalia has no standing national army. They are not trained, equipped, disciplined but above all, they lack command and control structure. Anyone with a gun can and will subject their whim upon anyone without one.

 Somalia is as large as afghanistan and some 250 000 soldiers failed to pacify afghanistan. How do you expect some 24 000 africans without air cover to finish them off? its more about containment than defeating shaba. Kenya and Ethiopia are having a field day in destroying permanently what is left of somalia, creating competing warlords in all regions fueled by tribal hatred. The somali president is extremely incompetent and is hoping to appease everyone, not knowing leadership means doing the right thing and preparing for the consequences. His word carries no weight since he has no single soldier reporting to him despite being the command in chief of the armed forces. His concept of leadership is smiling, shaking hands and appeasing entities literally tearing somalia apart. Little does he understand, in africa, power emanates from the barrel of the gun. Let alone building an army, he didn't even organize the police stations in muqdishu spending half his time flying to other countries. There is also, a close relationship between kenya and shabab; shabab brings the charcoal and kenya facilitates the export. it seems they have run out of trees to cut and burn in kismayu area, they are finally moving into jannale area to cut every tree and process into charcoal. The fate of somalia is sealed and it will never become a country. what hurts me the most is the slow killing process they are exposing us to.

 Ali Nasrullah,

Thanks. Ugandans are the ones who brought Bancroft (CIA) into Somalia & helped them establish a green zone at Halane. I view every troop contributing country, except Djibouti, as an enemy. The al-Shabaab are 5000-7000 fighters AMISOM Is 24 000 not including SNA. So clearly AMISOM has been hijacked by foreign countries who are not interested in pacifying the country.

 I'm pretty sure that area is supposed to be secured by Kenya. If SNA withdrew it's because they lack equipment. AMISOM is not helping Somalia. IGAD is also destabilizing the country, with they're Somali puppets. Clearly there is an effort to allow al-Shabaab to regroup & gain strength to prolong the fighting. There is lots of money to be made selling charcoal. Somali leaders are a disgrace. They are all unelected from Hassan Sheikh, Gaas, Madobe, Sharif not a single Somali citizen voted for these men in an open election. Yet they call themselves "president". Somalia has 5 presidents right now... I rest my case. The country is literally on life support & these sick men don't care as long as they can be called "president". They are so blinded by qabil they don't see what they're actions are doing to the country. I am so ashamed of these qabil "presidents".

 My uncle lives in Janaale, I always wondered what it looked like.

Just as I thought, it is another farmland.

It is good that there was no violence there but why did the Somali army just leave, couldn't they hold on the territory?
