National assets like the airport and port have to be under the control of SFG, even more so when warlords, Al-Shabaab and Kenyan troops are bent destroying Kismayo and looting national assets.

I have a message to the president:

Do not make bad decisions you won’t master the consequences.

the SFG is no more legitimate than Adan Madobe. The SFG is an unelected faction and no amount of the Westerner recognition or support will make legitimate. If Mr ulsow wanst genuine legitimacy, he should submit himself for elections by the people. Otherwise he si just another glorified clan warlord serving the interests of hsi clan and those of the West.

When it comes to manage the ports, airports and the borders of the whole country is definitely under the jurisdiction of the federal government. SFG has every right to control these areas to
make sure what is coming in and out of the country. For instance look the U.S and Canada who controls these strategic points,
So lets not blind our self either we want federal system similar to others or a Clan based Federal.

On the other hand, I do agree with you when it comes to state or municipal issues the SFG has no business in it other than monitoring it. If we want to adapt other peoples system lets do it the right way.

One of the worst side effects of the West's relentless pursuit in creating a 'central government' from top down in Somalia has been the empowerment of corruption-ridden African autocrats like Museveni, a man surely leading Uganda the way of Zimbabwe - into the gutter. Even the autocrat in miniature Djibouti has sent few troops all paid for the hard-up Western taxpayer to curry favour with the dominant empire - America and the West. the real price si being paid by the popels' of Africa. As usual of course.

What is the use of the federalism system if the central government wants to stick its nose in regional and local affairs. The people there have spoken and elected their leaders. The Federal Government has no business dictating to Kismayo locality, unless they want to do away with the federal system. Let the locals sort out their local problems, like in other cities such as Beledwayn, Bosasso, Garoowe, etc.! Meddling in regional affairs will only spur more conflict.

SFG need to acknowledge that Raskamboni brigade has done good job in being big part of chasing Al-Haraam out of Kisamyo, and the best way forward is for both groups to join their forces to complete the mission of pacifying Somalia.

Finally the blood money will be cut off in Kismayo!!!

It was all because of the money coming in from the Kismayo port, airport and the illegal charcoal sale which warlords, Al-Shabaab, mercenaries and Kenyan troops have been fighting over to control, and their attempt to bring down SFG, to detriment of the poor Somali people in Kismayo.
